After church on Sunday Lizzy and I went to a birthday party at Jambo park - an indoor amusement park - for one of her school friends.  All the littler girls had a blast.  Tim and Sammy spent the afternoon at the new house further destroying and restoring the kitchen.

We closed on our new home Tues Jan 17.  We are expecting to take a few months to remodel.  Here are some pictures from the first weekend.  Tim began the kitchen remodel  - mostly destruction.  The kids and I attacked the wallpaper.  The kiddos were both very good helpers, and really enjoyed tearing it off the wall.

For the last 5 months we have been shopping for houses.  It has been frustrating as we initially offered on a short sale, and had to wait many months for the bank to answer.... and then we backed out... After some more searching, we finally found the house perfect for us! We closed on it earlier this week, and it it now ours to personalize!  If you want the new address please contact us (I will be sending out address change forms to those of you who are in my address book).  

The house needs some updating to match our tastes, but we are looking forward to decorating and making it ours!  Our goal is to have it ready by mid-march, so we can move on in :)
