Lizzy's Grandma Schering and her friend Betty were in town the last two weeks.  Lizzy's Aunt Deb was also in town for a few days last weekend.  It was so nice to have them visit and spend time together.  Although we did a little shopping & a small amount of site-seeing, mostly we just spent time together.  Above is a picture of Gma and Lizzy out to dinner and a pic of Deb & Lizzy at our house.  Below is a photo of Gma & Lizzy on the floor at Gma & Deb's condo - it already is decked out with toys thanks for Gma's gift of shopping!

Lizzy's Grandma (Emma) Schering is in town for two weeks.  It is nice for grandma that the weather here is so nice (it was almost 80 degrees this past weekend) because back home in MI it was below zero!  On Sunday after church we all went to the pool.  Lizzy napped for the first hour, and then spent almost an hour splashing in the water.  She loved it, and we all loved watching her!

Lizzy spent the first 5 months of her life at home with mommy everyday.  We had a lot of fun together and you can see many of the things we did on some of the other pages of this webiste.  However, starting the second week of Jan 2008 mommy had to go back to work.  After only a few days at daycare Lizzy "dropped-out" and started going to our neighbor Patty's house for the day.  Patty and Clay have a darling three year old daughter named Addy.  It has been great sending Lizzy over there, the girls love playing with eachother.  Addy spends much of her day entertaining Lizzy as well as teaching her new things.  Addy is trying really hard to get Lizzy to talk.  This morning she said to Lizzy, "Can you say, Gaaaaa, Gaaaaa, Gooooo, Goooo? Let's practice."
