Lizzy's Mema and Mema's sister Lois were in town for the past week.  Lizzy right away remembered her Mema, and the two of them  enjoyed playing together.  It took Lizzy a bit longer to warm up to Lois, but by the end Lizzy was sharing kisses with everyone :)

Here are a few highlight pictures of Lizzy and her Mema.

Lizzy and daddy take a break in the book aisle at the store.

Lizzy loves wed and fri mornings because that is when the "gaabuge tru" comes by - aka the garbage and recycling trucks.  She hears the trucks long before they approach our house and she starts chanting "gaabuge tru, gaabuge tru" and runs to the front door.  We then sit on the front porch and watch the truck pick-up the bins on our cul-de-sac.  The entire time Lizzy waves and is generally very excited.

The driver of friday's recycling truck always waves and honks the horn.  However, today he stopped the tuck, got out, and gave Lizzy a present!  Lizzy loved her City of Scottsdale recycling bag containing crayons, a coloring book, a ruler, a pencil, and a bracelet!  The driver, Elias, told me that every friday he can not wait to turn the corner and see Lizzy waving at him.  It appears that out little sunshine brightens the day of more people than we thought!  I hope this story brightened your day!

p.s. I promise to post new pictures this weekend!  Sorry it had been so long, but I just keep forgetting!

Here I caught Lizzy trying to make a run for freedom...  Good thing I caught her  (with my camera...)

Lizzy found some heels and spent a lot of time and effort trying to walk in them.

While at the store, Addy gave Lizzy a sponge bob hat to try on.  Patty snapped a picture of Lizzy hamming it up in the hat.

Lizzy loves being outside - so much that she wants to eat at the picnic table even when it is sort of chilly out!  I usually sit by her and help her eat (and use the spoon the correct direction...), however this time Brandy jumped up and joined us too so I did not have any free hands!

Today the weater was perfect for our hike on Lookout Mountain in central Phoenix.  Tim and I enjoyed getting outside and seeing the view.  Lizzy's favorite parts were seeing the many dogs and playing with the rocks.

Every evening Lizzy plays in the backyard with mommy and daddy.  The hardest part is getting her to come back inside!

Lizzy the ballerina easily talks daddy away from the computer for a good night kiss!
