Lizzy loves to climb intoSammy's crib and keep him company. Sammy seems to have no problem sharing his space with her - in fact, he also seems to love hanging out with his big sister!
 Lizzy is a joy. Between her singing and other antics, she is a constant source of entertainment for all of us!
 While in MI Sammy rolled for the first time from his stomach to his back (on Feb 28, so exactly 5 months old). A few days later he said his first word- "da, da." He now babbles non-stop with "da. da, da, da..." and refuses to stay on his tummy for tummy-time! He also teething, so he is constantly chewing on his hand and gets bright red checks.
 Samy and I flew to MI for a couple days over the last weekend of Feb to see Oma. Oma moved into a hospice home the week before and I was worried about her and wanted to see her. Praise the Lord that when we were there she was feeeling better - in fact she moved out of the hospice home and back to her retirement community that weeked!    We are fast running low on bibbs! Sammy is teething right now and he seems to be a slobber producing machine. He also is a messy eater.   Sammy seems quite interested in 'da Bears...
 Mema was in town for 2.5 weeks. During those weeks she stayed home with Sammy and Lizzy a few days while Chris went to work. On the days that the kids went to daycare she would often go for a long hike in the morning and then pick-up Lizzy early in the afternoon for some girl fun - they went shopping, played at the park, built a build-a-bear, and just "hugh out."
 For a week in Feb some of our extended family was in town. Lois (Mema's sister) and her husband Ron rented a home up in Cave Creek large enough to house their entire family (Casey, Stephanie and her boyfriend Dan, Dustin and his wife Nicole and son Cannon). We were able to get together with them a few times for fun, food, and games. Lizzy loved the special attention (esp from Stephanie). Baby Cannon is about three weeks older than Sammy, and it was neat to see the two together.    Lizzy and Sammy relax on mommy & daddy's bed before heading off to church. After church today Mema's plane lands and she will be in town for over two weeks!
