There was a garden snake in the backyard.
Lizzy screamed "I am never going outside again!"
Sammy grabbed a broom and started chasing it yelling, "NAKE!  NAKE!"

Sammy and Lizzy like going to Sweet Tomatoes (a salad bar buffet) for dinner...  because we get mini ice-cream cones for dessert!

Over Spring Break we were able to get together with some friends.  One of the times we went to the train park.  Here are some shots of the kids on the train.  Even I admit that the photos are not that great - but there were eight kids and after a few attempts I gave up!

The other day Lizzy sat in the back seat of the car and took picture while we were driving to meet Daddy for lunch.  Some were quite good/interesting, so I thought I would post them.  No editing was done...

All Lizzy wanted was a sweet picture of her and Sammy cuddling in the rocking chair....
All Sammy wanted to do was get down and move!

Sammy can be quite a pest.  Usuallt it is harmless (turning the TV off, taking a toy, etc).   At school/daycare the other day he took a little girl pacifier.  Since he is so tall he held it high in the air and walked around while she followed saying "not nice!  not nice!"  This is the same girl the he seems to have a bit of a crush on, so maybe he was flirting?

Sometimes Sam has a tendency to hit when he is playing.  Normally it is with small light wieght objects.  However, when playing outside the other day here is the rock Sam hit Liz with - on the forehead!  Needless to say there was a lot of crying and "he's was mean" comments. Thankfully Lizzy just got a goose egg and nothing else major.

Tim had to go into the office Saturday, and Lizzy wanted to go with him.  She spent the morning coloring at his desk while he worked.  After a couple hours Sam and I met them for coffee.  On the way home the kiddos and I stopped at a small pond to feed the ducks.  The kids are still talking about the ducks (a week and a half later).  "Duck" is now one of Sam's few words.
