Lizzy enjoys being outside.    We were blessed with a relatively cool June, allowing us to enjoy the backyard most weekend and evenings.  Now the dailiy high is almost 110 degrees and it is still 105 degrees at 7 pm - so mommy has basically quit going outside except for quick bolts to the car, giving Lizzy less time to play.  Above are a few cute pictures of Lizzy relaxing.  Below are a couple shots of Lizzy "helping" her daddy with the backyard renovation.

Since tommorrow is Father's Day, it seems fitting to highlight Lizzy and daddy's special bond....  

Lizzy looks a lot like Tim - mostly due to those big brown eyes. 

She acts a lot like Tim - at first reserved in new setting and with large groups. 

She picks-up many of Tim's mannerisms - things have there "right" place. 

She mimics Tim - she loves to use her "tools" to help Tim with house and yard projects. 

She loves to play with Tim - they often can be found sharing toys and "secrets." 

Regardless of the setting, it is clear she loves her daddy, and that he loves her.  Here are some cute pictures of Lizzy with her daddy (all taken since March 2009).


Happy Father's Day Tim! 

For the past few weeks Tim has been working hard in the backyard upgrading the landscaping.  Here Lizzy and Brandy rest in the shade on a blanket while daddy works in the sun.

Lizzy and Addy missed eachother terribly while we were in MI.  A coulple days after our return to AZ we met up with Patty and Addy at a nearby park.  It was so comical when the girls saw eachother from a distance - they both ran to meet one another and embraced in a big hug.  Here are some cute pictures of them playing at the park.
