This year for thanksgiving we went to the Rohl's house.  The meal and the company were equally wonderful.  Tim and Chris enjoyed time with the adults and Lizzy enjoyed playing with her friend Lexi.

Lizzy is turning into a little chatter-box (based on those of you who know me, that should not be too much of a surprise...)

All day long she "talks" saying things like,

"doga doga doga"  "b-i-b-i-b-i" and of course "eh, eh,eh"

 

But she also says a lot of words, including

baby, book, ball, block, mama, dada, up, all-done, and bottle (sound like baa-dall)

On sunday Chris and her friends threw a baby shower for their friend JoAnn at our house.  Tim took Lizzy away for part of the day.  While the mommies had fun at home, daddy and baby had fun hiking and playing at the park.  Here is a picture of Tim and Lizzy getting ready for their outing and a picture of Chris with a few of her friends at the party.  

Lizzy enjoys brushing her teeth - not sure if it because she is teething or because she wants to make her pearly whites shine!

This morning Lizzy and mommy went to the zoo with many of Lizzy's friends and their mommies.  Lizzy's favorite animal was the big giraffe.  Later that day at home Lizzy played with her toy giraffe - although she prefered carrying it than riding it!

On monday grandma took Lizzy to the park.  There Lizzy went down the slide by herself for the first time.  On wed, Pat and Addy too Lizzy back to the park.  There she went down the slide many times and enjoyed "hitting" Addy at the bottom.

Lizzy's grandma has been in town for the past week.  Lizzy had a lot of fun with grandma, and we will all be sad to see her go.

Today Lizzy found a way to enjoy herself all day long.  Whether in the car "talking" on mommy's cell phone, at the church nursery playing in the play ground, or running around in the backyard - Lizzy made sure to have fun!
