Lizzy takes a dance class at school.  This past saturday she was in her first performance.  She did just a good job.  She was scared at first but eventually she got into it.

Sammy and daddy in the crowd.  Sammy slept most of the show...

Liz and I posed for a quick picture.  No special reason - just because :)

Sammy and Lizzy "helping" trim the tree.  We used only shatterproof ornaments this year!! Good thing too because Sammy likes to take them off the tree and kick them like balls to the dogs!

We went for a "walk to Bethlehem" at a local church.  Friends of ours were the blessed family - plus a extra cute little shepherdess!)

The other day Sammy fell asleep in my arms while drinking his bottle.  Since I had the camera within arm's reach I had to take this picture!

Tonight when we came home from dinner we forgot to close the garage door - oops!  About an hour later Tim walked into the garage and almost walked right into a herd of Javelinas eating our dog food!  Walking into the garage scared away many of them, but the brave "piggys" stayed behind to feast a bit longer.  Tim took these pictures while standing in the doorway to our house before "shooing" the rest of them away.  Lizzy and I stayed safely, and watched outthe front window while the pigs ran around our front yard.  We just went into the (closed) garage - man does it stink!

Joseph Anthony Sternaman was born at 11:06 pm Wed Nov 24.  he was two weeks early, but he we still big, 8 pounds 5 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long.  Aunt "Dub" and Uncle Ed are the proud parents.  Deb and Baby Joseph are doing well and are now home.  What a sepcial gift to celebrate this Thanksgiving Day!

Mema and the fam went to the Phoenix Auto Show Sunday afternoon.  The goal was to figure out what car that I should get as I am getting ready to retire my 2004 Jeep Liberty.  I want something that will fit all 4 of us comforatably as well as the regualr midwest visitors (i.e. Mema and Grandma!).  It also needs to be comfortable for Tim in the front seat.  While I did narrow it down a bit - the kids decided that they wanted a smaller version of Daddy'w wrangler!

Liz was mad that Sam was driving...

Lizzy took this picture of me sitting at the wheel of the Chevy Traverse.  It looks like I liked the car...

Mema was in town for Thankgiving.  This is the first Thanksgiving in a few years that we celebrated with family, and we really enjoyed it.  Mema made it easy to host as she cooked most of the food (even the turkey) at our house!  While the bird was cooking we took a walk to the park and played.  The kids did great, but our fairly fat and old dog Brandy could not make it back on her own!  She ended up either being carried by Tim or sitting on Lizzy's lap in the stroller!
