The kiddos loved escaping from the heat and playing at the indoor trampoline park with their friend Isa.

Lizzy friend Isa had a super fun tea party with Tinkerbell!  The girls all dressed-up in princess dresses and enjoyed playing games, getting their faces painted, drinking "tea" (lemonade) with Tinkerbell.  At the end Tinkerbell sang a song for the girls.  It was truly magical. :)

Lizzy has been in a dance class at school for the past two and a half years.  Here are some pictures from the annual "beach dance party." We love going to these as it is an intimate setting for the parent to watch their girls dance. The girls are not intimidated by a stage and they all seem to have a great time. Lizzy loves her dance teacher "Miss Carol" and she will miss her when she leave pre-school and start kindergarten in the fall. We will have to find another dance class, or maybe gymnastics this fall.

Thanksgiving Day was a small affair at our house since this was the first Thanksgiving we spent with just the four of us.  We acutaly went to the Phoenix Car show in the morning.  During the afternoon while we waited for dinner to cook we played in the backyard.  We even gave our dog Haley a bath and shaved her coat.  In fact, I was enjoying relaxing so much that I even forgot to take pictures! :)

We did NOT go shopping on "Black Friday."  Instead we relaxed around the house and met our friends Cortney and Isa at the train park.  The kiddos had a blast enjoying the cool weather (finaly only a high of ~ 65 degrees), and Tim and I enjoyed not battling the crowds in the stores (I did however do some online shopping that day and found some great deals).  Below are some cute pictures of the kiddos playing at the park.

Over Spring Break we were able to get together with some friends.  One of the times we went to the train park.  Here are some shots of the kids on the train.  Even I admit that the photos are not that great - but there were eight kids and after a few attempts I gave up!

Over the next three months we will have quite a few 3rd birthdays to celebrate (including Lizzy's on Aug 11th!).  The first of Lizzy's little friends, Isabella, just turned three and invited Lizzy and some friends over to celebrate.  At the party the girls (and the two little brothers who tagged along) were kept busy with treats, books, art projects, and games all centered around the "My Little Pony" theme.

Lizzy and Sophie took their little brothers Samuel and Nicholas to the party.  However Sammy at 9 months and Nicki at 11 months were more interested in crawling around than the games!

Lizzy takes dance class at her daycare.  She really likes it and often shows us her "moves" in the evening.  Once in a while parents are invited to a class to see what the girls are learning.  Here is Lizzy with her classmates.  However, while all the other girls danced, Lizzy was scared of all the parents and she refused to move.  Instead she just stood there like a statue.  Eventually she started crying and ran to mommy and daddy.  She spent most of the class sitting on Daddy's lap.  This is pretty common Lizzy behavior.  She is very talkaltive in situtations and around people she knows, but get her in a starnge enviornment with new people and she clams-up!

On friday Lizzy, Sammy, and I got together with some friends at the park for a little pre-Halloween fun.  The kids (and a few mommys) wore their costumes, ate food, played on the equiptment, and did an art project.  Lizzy had a great time dressed-up as her favorite animal, a giraffe!  Sammy dressed-up as a horse... but he slept through the entire party!

Lizzy may just have turned two last week, however she has three friends that she has known most of her life.  Lizzy and I met Gia, Sophie, Lexi and their moms at a "mommy and me" group back when the girls were only about two months old!  The time sure has flown by as all four girls have just turned (or soon will turn) two years old!  Here are a few group shots from the past two years.

During Lizzy and my stay in MI, we got together with a few of my friends from high school and their kids.  My friend Katie has two kids, Taylor (~ 6) and Drew (~ 4).  Amy also has a girl and a boy; Ana (~2.5) and John (~ 7 months).  While it was great to see them all, Lizzy really enjoyed playing with Ana and hugging and kissing John.  It is now about a month later, but Lizzy still brings up Ana and "baby John."
