Lizzy's class had a Teddy Bear picnic. They invited their bears ate snacks outside. Then they played games. 
The kiddos enjoyed the chocolate custard at Culvers - especially after we let it melt and they could suck it up with a straw. 
Sammy learned to use the potty this weekend! He has fought it for months, but this weekend it clicked, He now wears his underpants all day AND night. No more diapers. Here are a few shots of my happy big boy :) 
"Pirate Sammy" and Lizzy are very proud of their giant Hello Kitty puzzle. 
Lizzy's kindergarten class hosted a teddy bear picnic. In class they wrote invitations to their teddy bears. They then brought their favorite teddy bears to school for a snack picnic outside. After snacks they played games. Their 4th grade "chapel buddies" came to join them. Parents were also invited.  Lizzy hugging "Joey Bear," named after her younger cousin Joey  Liz running really hard in a variation of duck-duck-goose.
Lizzy is fast becoming a monkey at school. She loves the monkey bars and is able to go back and forth multiple times. She practices every day, and her hands are showing the strain as they keep blistering and often rip open. 
Lizzy first day of Kindergarten was today. She did great and seemed very excited for the first day. Mommy and Daddy did well too - maybe a bit nostalgic, but no crying. 
Lizzy started a gymnastics class in July. So far she is enjoying all the exercises - especially the balance beams and the obstacle courses.
